• I joined Student Outreach in a desperate attempt to fill the gaps in my blank resume. Now, after more than a year of membership, I write this article as the President of its Liberal Arts Club, a former emcee, Creative Head, and Event Head. Yet, most of all, I write this article as a grateful student who has been given the platform to showcase her talents, receive career guidance, and be empowered to participate in the organization’s decision-making process. One of the most difficult questions I always get asked is: What is Student Outreach? Its challenging to convey the myriad ways Student Outreach has supported me. At its core, Student Outreach is a career counseling organization dedicated to helping students gain admission to their dream universities by career guidance.
